Sunday Groups for Children & Teenagers
Sunday groups are available for all children from babies upwards and takes place during the Sunday morning service in the halls at the rear of the Church.
Any children attending Sunday groups will normally stay in the service for the first 20-30 minutes where we try and aim the worship at all age groups. After this all our groups will go out to the church halls together. The exception to this is on the Sundays we celebrate communion. On these occasions The Grid children go out to their group after communion has ended.
Our groups are split by age into the following groups to ensure that the children get the best possible teaching appropriate to their age:
First Steps is for our youngest children, from babies to reception year and they meet in the Small Hall. You are welcome to stay with your child, as needed and required. All children (and adults!) are encouraged to listen to a short Bible story and take part in activities. The idea is for all the children, with support from the adults, to learn about God together in a fun way. However, for any of the youngest children who may not be quite be up to that a selection of toys and books are also available.
For very young children, if you feel your little one needs the facilities a little earlier during the service than normal, then feel free to take them to the Small Hall when you need to.
Splash and Xstream for years 1 to 6, meeting in the large hall.
The Grid for years 7 upwards, meeting in the youth room.
